Hellboy returns in the fight of a lifetime
Hellboy is back in theaters, and this time he’s got an Oscar-nominated director carrying him. Sure it’s the Oscar nod that’s new and not the director, but it still raises the bar. Does Guillermo Del Toro deliver the goods? Is it visually stunning and thematically enthralling? Is Hellboy as a ten-year-old the creepiest thing you’ve ever seen? Del Toro delivers with monsters worthy of the Mos Eisley Cantina, but you’ll have to look here to see if Cecilia thought the story worked.
